I received my B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida. While studying, I wrote op/ed for The Oracle and I hosted a morning radio show at WBUL 1620 AM, developing the student station through street team promotions. This type of grassroots promotion was common for me since I was busily canvassing neighborhoods for various political campaigns and advocacy groups during my college years.
Canvassing is the most basic – and often ignored – method for spreading a message. The method for political canvassing: Knock on a door. Introduce yourself. Start a conversation. Find a connection. Ask a favor of a perfect stranger. Now imagine if it were possible to break your target demographic into segments, knock on each person’s door within the segment, introduce yourself, and ask each person to buy your product or service. Luckily, it’s not just in your imagination, and strategic marketing makes it a reality.
Knowing what to say and how to say it is my talent, and the reason I started Central Command. I received an overwhelming response from clients and potential clients for work post-graduation. The studio was founded on demand and started with a strong client list. My business partner and I quit our day jobs.
I am blessed with a diverse set of clients with a range of project sizes. I’ve coordinated high school football video shooting schedules with a nationally recognizable media outlet and spent a weekend customizing a brand and website for an independent, cottage industry baker. From Grammy award winning artists to aspiring musicians needing a demo, each project has a unique identity and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of each one.
Recently, I have relocated to Northeast Ohio from Long Island, and found my new home secretly rich in history and art. A pleasant surprise! My personal endeavors follow a similar path as my professional work. I enjoy creating short films about cultural identities and personalities. At home, I am an avid gamer, tech geek, classic horror film fan, and mountain biking enthusiast who loves to travel to new destinations for the thrill of a new hill.
